All too often we are led, through circumstances created by others or our own minds, to spaces that demand we negotiate ourselves out of them, or stay and suffocate. These images of terrain, both real and manufactured, aim to mirror a sense of entrapment, whereby the viewer must question the existence of invisible passages, and consider how one may seek sanctuary, but find confinement instead.
